The owner and instructor of HTHF is Sarah Hill. Sarah is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and Youth Exercise Specialist; a SpiderFIT Kids Youth Physical Literacy Specialist; a Certified Martial Arts Teacher with Global Martial Arts Alliance; and a certified Red Cross Basic Life Support and Adult and Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED Instructor. She also holds certifications in other areas including kettlebell training, jump rope instruction, and training perimenopausal and menopausal clients. Sarah has enjoyed sports and fitness for most of her life and was bitten by the youth coaching bug as a freshman in high school when she ran her first basketball camp. Since that time, she has advanced her own sports and fitness knowledge through practice and study, earning belts in multiple martial arts styles, weight training, running, and playing roller derby. She currently holds a Nidan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and a 2nd Black Chevron in American Bojutsu. She has also led and coached multiple sports and activities including personal training, Shotokan karate, roller skating, archery, and general youth fitness classes. She loves to share her passion for fitness and hopes she can inspire others to find an activity they love to keep them moving.
